What types of donations can CPFB accept?
We can accept cash, checks or credit card payments.
For every dollar donated, CPFB is able to distribute 5 pounds of food.
We can pick up, handle, inspect, store and distribute most food products.
These include: fresh, dry, canned, discontinued, out of specification, frozen, dehydrated, surplus, code dated and clean damaged foods.
We can also accept many other products, including household goods, pet food, health & beauty aids, paper products and diapers.
At CPFB we contract with all of our member agencies, mandating that donated products will not be sold, traded or bartered. Recipients are never charged for food. Products donated to CPFB are tracked to ensure they do not re-enter the market.
